JOB TITLE: Credit Analyst
LOCATION: Tyler, Texas

Heritage Land Bank is located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas. Our total loan portfolio of $306 million includes a Capital Markets portfolio of approximately $20 million. Loans consist of poultry, livestock, nurseries, timber, crops, recreational property, and country home loans, with the Capital Markets portfolio consisting of timber, food processors, telecommunications, agricultural plants and mills and alternative energy. Established over 90 years ago, Heritage Land Bank is a locally owned and operated financial cooperative (Agricultural Credit Association), which is part of the Farm Credit System. We are headquartered in Tyler, Texas and operate six branch offices.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Ag Economics or a related field, and two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the administration and analysis of credit on commercial and other complex loans including risk assessments and recommendations on approval of loan applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to perform advanced accounting/financial analyses under minimal supervision.
Job Scope:
Assists loan officers in the credit and financial statement analysis, servicing, and reporting of the Association's loan participations, mortgage and commercial type loans. Performs credit analysis and financial statement analysis on moderate to complex loan originations and monitors/performs due diligence reviews of various financial participation packages and loan originations with district associations or commercial agency lenders. Prepares annual reviews of participation loan originators and presents results to loan committee.
