TYLER, Texas — Wesley Bennefield of San Augustine recently got an inside look at how the Farm Credit System carries out its mission to provide dependable credit to agriculture and rural America. Bennefield, a member-borrower of Heritage Land Bank, was among 32 young agricultural producers selected to attend the 2013 Farm Credit Young Leaders Program.

Tyler, Texas – Heritage Land Bank is pleased to announce that Brian Harris has joined the ag-lending cooperative as a loan officer. Harris will be based in the Tyler office, and will assist with the lending operations at each of the association’s branch offices.

TYLER, Texas - Heritage Land Bank announced it paid $2.3 million in patronage dividends to its customers in April 2013. This patronage dividend represents a 15 basis point increase over last year, and is based on the association’s solid 2012 net earnings of $7.4 million – an increase of $1.8 million over the prior year, and total assets of $316.9 million.
