Win funding for your FFA Chapter

To support the next generation of Texas producers and landowners,
Heritage Land Bank is giving away a total of $3,000 in grants to three deserving FFA chapters.

 

It’s easy to enter! Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Choose your FFA (Adult) Representative.

  2. Brainstorm on how your Chapter could use this grant.

  3. Submit Entry Form and create a video on how you’ll use the money. (See questions below.)

  4. Submit a Chapter Photo, along with a media release. (School is responsible for release.)

  5. Post Chapter Photo on Facebook  from either your school or chapter’s Facebook page. 
    Be sure to tag @Heritage Land Bank and use #HeritageProud

Submission Deadline: Feb 1

  • Submit a YouTube video link to Heritage Land Bank explaining how you would use the funds from the grant.

  • Submit a chapter photo and media release form. (To be used for marketing and public relations purposes.)

  • Post and screenshot your Chapter photo on your Facebook page announcing the submission, and tag Heritage Land Bank.

    • Note: One entry per school

 

Winner Announcement: Feb 22

  • Your local Loan Officer will inform winning FFA Chapters, and schedule day to visit.

 

Details

  • $3,000 Total will be awarded to 3 FFA Chapters within our territory. (See list below)

  • Open to all school districts in our service area:

    • Anderson, Angelina, Cherokee, Collin, Dallas, Henderson, Hunt, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rockwall, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Tarrant Counties.

  • Selection of the Grant(s) will be based on answers to the following questions:

    • How will the money be used?

    • How will the funds impact students’ learning?

    • How many kids will be impacted?

    • How will this impact a student’s college and career readiness?

    • How does this improve the Ag Department?

  • Funds should be used for general use, and may be used by the organization as a whole; not for/by a single individual.
