- Give them room to explore: The goats, like any other kind of farm animal, will want room to explore and roam around. While you will certainly want to have a fence on your land in order to keep them secure and on the farm itself, there should be enough space so that they do not feel cooped up, as boredom will not be good for their growth.
- Raise more than just one: By their nature, goats are very social animals. They belong in a herd, which is why you do not want to have just one on your property. For their own safety and health, make sure that you have at least a small group of them. This will facilitate a normal and healthy life.
- Reinforce your farm's fence: Because the goats will want to explore the entire farm, there is a chance they will try and make it through the fencing you have put up.
